I don't bother trying to PS Headcap with this mech, that is what my Marauder is for. Which is one reason why I don't like your Stalker build, I get to fire everything except the SRM6's at least once if not more before your Stalker gets into firing range. It also can fire at all ranges comfortable. (and the spread damage would make it a waste) This is either my mech to strip armor or to finish off targets. I don't often use PS with this mech as it usually doesn't need them. I could swap it for other things but I can't see why, all I would be doing is trading it out for less overall damage and no PPC effect.
BATTLETECH BULL SHARK CRACK
The effect it brings (MEAN DEBUFF :P ) usually means between +3 Gyro and 10 Pilot skill return fire is already a joke so adding more means even my brawlers don't ever crack their armor from return fire. Picked the damage variant cause the STAB is wasted since I am just killing targets (no need to knock them down) and the -Heat is pointless since I am already -heat generation. Same idea on the SNUB PPC I use it for its effect. Even IF (an that is usually a big if) I don't kill a target often the ammo will go usually killing them.

On the LB-X2's the crit chance they bring do solid enough work to warrant using them over other ballistics. So yes it might be less accurate but it REALLY doesn't need it. I don't need TTS+++ on this highlander to increase hit end game (due to pilots being good enough and Assaults being easy to hit anyways) but if I felt like it I could adjust to fit them on but I don't ever see a need for them on most builds. Now I get what you logic is on some things but I don't agree on your assertions. (half to fun of this game is finding new fun builds) I can get better output from an Atlas DT but being able to Jump makes these guys have some serious versatility options.īut anyways just felt like chatting up some people about their builds. One is a "Support"Build and a Brawler Build. Build wise I seem to ended up similar to the Annihilator but dealing overall less damage.įor context my other two Highlanders deal slightly less damage but have max armor and are jump capable while being much more heat efficient. Just curious as to what other people arrived at when trying to improve the BSK-MAZ. Stock its already a solid mech (only really needing better +/++ upgrades so you can put on more armor) but I want to try and make it better but honestly it feels like my Highlanders are better overall and the only reason to bring the Shark is for the Thumper option. 546 Alpha with negative heat generation (it sinks 10 more than it generates on an Alpha) and Max Armor.īut I have been trying to figure out a better build for the BSK-MAZ. My HGN-732B Highlander has been doing some work.
BATTLETECH BULL SHARK MOD
(no mods, kinda want to try them but always hesitate to mod a game) (optimized for my personal play style) For now I play with all the DLC but but otherwise vanilla game.

So I have been playing again and enjoying figuring out some new optimized builds.
