There are quite a few different named enemies for you to kill up here too some of which can also be killed with small groups or sometimes even solo by a well geared and skilled player. The location on the map above is best known as the Undead Side of Lguk or the northern portion and will be extremely tough for you without a group (assuming it's Classic EQ still when you read this). Where as on the other side of things killing the Undead Frogloks actually builds your reputation with the living ones. The only downside of hunting the Living Frogloks I can think of is it'll make you hostile to the Frogloks in Upper Guk. That's all the named enemies you can find in the southern portion of Lower Guk aka the Live Side! Once you go far enough south in LGuk to reach the living Frogloks you'll find the EXP to be about the same as what you'd get up north in the Undead Frogloks. This zone gets revamped during Hardcore Heritage which occurs during the spring/summer months. The best way to reach Lower Guk is by traveling through Innothule Swamp and through Upper Guk. You can stay in Lower Guk all the way to level 50 if you want to - it'll slow down a bunch in the late 40s though so I would recommend you head to City of Mist at some point in the 40s if you decided to start with Lower Guk. If they con dark blue to your merc he shouldn't have any trouble with them though. or you could move up north into the undead froglok area where you'll be getting more than one enemy per pull. If you'd like to take some risks you can keep going south and killing living Frogloks until the Froglok King.

The further south you go (once you come to living frogloks) the enemies will start increasing in level and density. In this area you'll find Evil Eye, Patriarch, Minotaur Elder and a bit further south there's a Froglok Noble. The southern area on the map with all of the tunnels is the safest and easiest place for lower levels to solo. Depending on what level you are and what your gear situation looks like you'll either want to do the southern portion of Lower Guk or the Northern portion. Since this zone was part of original Everquest the mobs are tuned to how people were geared at that time which means these are some of the weakest mobs you can find for this level range.ĭespite their weakness these mobs do drop a decent amount of plat with each kill which is primarily the reason this zone is listed.
